ELF CIV 2018: RACING IS LIFE. ANYTHING BEFORE OR AFTER IS JUST WAITING

Goodmorning Fellas!
I wake up late.
Not for real, but I spent the last two months with my family.
Some difficult moments.
But I hope that all of these will make us stronger.
By the way Fellas.
You want to know something about race.
Italian race.
Something different from the usual MotoGP and WSBK series.
Right?
Good Fellas!
I got some sneak peeks for you!
I got a real opportunity to assist at the start of a great championship.
Take a step back.
CIV, aka Italian Speed Championship.

The best of pro riders here in Italy?
Yes, but not only Italian: CIV is changing its habits and now you can see an international riders attendance.
And not only male riders, right Ieva?
(spoiler time, soon a short interview about her life, the sacrifices and the satisfaction to ride with and against male riders: only one thought, Respect!).

How many classes?
A lot.
SuperBike, SuperSport 600, Moto3, Pre Moto3, SuperSport 300, National Trophy 600 and National Trophy 1000.

Not bad uh?!
And I was there.
In the middle of the track.

For the first time like a "Real Journalist".
But I'm not.
I'm a words player. I like to tell stories. And I like the idea that you could see what see.
The reality, with a different point of view.
Not like a pro.
Not like a dilettante.
Just like a dreamer, but very close to his dream.

Friday morning.
Press Pass.
The Hymn for the speed sounds high in the Paddock.
Fast little arrows whizzing on the final straight, up towards the finish line.
I saw in my life a lot of races.
I have to say thanks to Matteo Bianchi, a friend of mine, who challenged when was young (and damn, right we still are!), with and against two certain riders, that for sure you've heard something about: Mattia Pasini and Marco Simoncelli.
Look at these memories and seems so far.
Maybe we are a little bit mature (sure?!).
A little bit responsible (damn, how many lies!!!).
And we will remain forever young.
One forced to stay in his youth.
Most of us, inside.
By the way.
Track. Time attack.

The Future of Our Sport.

These young guns act like pro riders.
No childish behavior.
No time for gameplay.
Helmets on.
Visors down.
And when the going gets tough, the tough get going.

No fireworks for CIV riders.
Hard work.
Crash diet.
Maybe you will never see a live race of CIV from FOX Channel or something similar.
No changing camera car during the race.
But damn, the future is bulletproof, and now you can follow live race on ELF CIV facebook profile and on Elevensports website!
Pro riders ready to give everything to be on the top of the podium.

And this year, a real revelation:
Barni Racing Team will play the role of Baptist.
Sacrilegious?

Nah.
Cause Barni will be the godfather of the new Panigale V4 S in National Trophy .
They will test and test experimenting and test and brake and fix and test again.

And in meanwhile they will be trying to win!
A very hard mission. Sounds like a mission impossible.
Sounds like heaven in hell!

But no worry they got their M.I. Team:
IVAN THE TERRIBLE GOI who made the grade in 2012, winning for the first time ever with the Panigale V2.
LUCA BRONCOS CONFORTI
Ps, in the second round at Mugello Luca didn't miss the target and achieved a great second position and the first podium for the future WorldSBK weapon of Ducati!

The National it's one of the most interesting class of the CIV Championship.
Some names?
Eddie La Marra, Luca Salvadori, Luca Pini and Federico D'Annunzio, who won the Misano round.

And what about the paddock Storyteller?
Is it good?
Could you live the real essence of the Race?
Damn Fellas, are you kidding?
Take a look at the pics and the vids. You live the race.
You are inside the action, you smell the burnt tires and see the umbrellas girls smile at you (fake, no umbrellas smiled at me damn, but I always try to catch their looks, fake again Chiara, it's not true)!
The varied classes challenged for all Sunday long:
Premoto3
Moto3
SuperSport300
SuperSport600
SuperStock1000
Superbike

Do you love Bikes?
You have to see what happens here!

Do you love Girls?
Damn, check the pics n the other social channels!

Do you love classical music?
Lucky Fellas you are!
Listen to this orchestra, a concert only for you!

A dramatic climax to the Ode to the RPM!
Throttle, release, crackling and brake.
Hit the apex, a scream.
A laught.  a F*ck off!
Repeat.
And you could feel the magic:
you could observe the Alchemical transmutation:
Turning Fire Into Speed.
Brave riders prepared to give everything for this equivalent exchange!

By the way, now a little digression on the real starring of the first round of CIV.
The Desmo V4.
Noble Birth in her family tree.
Some say that her heart came from the Desmo16 GP15.
A real racing machine born to run fast as death.
Harder, better, faster and stronger than Grim Reaper.
Termignoni offered his service to boost and magnify her desmo voice.
If you look carefully you can recognize some like-minded elements with the glorious 999 and the Desmo16 GP3 ridden by Loris Capirossi in the far 2003.
It got a name.
You can call it:
4USCITE.

What do you think about?
Do you prefer the Akra?
Nah.
I liked the Akra for its clean asymmetrical lines.
But with Termi was love at first sight.
You can recognize nervous design, to prove its aim: give to max power it can to the Desmo.

After all, what could I add to this reportage to invite you on the track?
First, you have to support your local track.
Maybe you won't see the V4, now, but for sure the aim, the target it's always the same.
In every part of the world!
To play with (big) bikes, to enjoy on them, to spend amazing time with friends.
To win, to own the glory, the fleeting smiles, the ephemeral sensations that the day after has a different flavor.
And the waiting for a new adventure.
For a new chance.
To try again.

Because sometimes, racing is life...

See ya Fellas!
Take care, helmet on! And Have a Great WeekEnd!
I will be in Imola for this:
