1100 SPORT CORSA
Moto Guzzi.
A heavy weight brand in the motorcycle panorama.
Won everything since 1926. Rivolution seems to mean the name.
Remember the V8?
Or the evolution on Single-cylinder 250cc engine?
Well now i want to introduce you this vintage muscle bike.
I was walking alone with my friend Bilbo, while my eyes fall on a red motorcycle.
Was far from her, but i understood immediatly that she wasn't a normal bike.
step by step i saw clearly her body. her beutiful engine. her gas gauge...
She was, sorry, is a 1100 SPORT CORSA.
Produced, or better born, in 1994.
Was the first alternative to the DAYTONA, that come from.
But the differences from the two model were not so marked like in Moto Guzzi wanted to show.
First: the engine.
Daytona with 992cc evo2, on the sport grow up till 1064cc. Same frame, deisgned and developed by Dr.John Wittner (american dentist, daytona......?!).
90hp for both.
Monster torque from the lowest rpm.
Only one big lack.
No development about the rear tyre (size and inches, infact they had the 17" at the front, and 18" narrow tyre). The new tyres (17" with a big size),
that come from SBK series and Motogp infact guaranted more grip for the new generation of the sportive bikes sector.
WP fork and Brembo brakes for both.
CARDAN JOINT.
And a lot sexy appeal.
