MAXI ENDURO. MAXI SATISFACTIONS

Here it's almost spring and as usual come out from their box to smoke some tires.
In those days i saw these magnificent beasts.

KTM 990 ADVENTURE R

BMW HP2 ENDURO

Both come from the North.

One from Austria and the other one from Bavaria.

Both have a 21 inch front wheels.

Two cylinder for both, one with a Vtwin, one with a Boxter. 

999 cc and 113 hp for the KTM.

1170 cc and 105hp for the BMW.

At the top for quality components. Beauty as hell and hard to ride in extreme conditions.

One loves the hot temperature of the desert, those famouse rally raid in 90's and first 2000's with the unforgettable Fabrizio Meoni.

The other prefers the dirty, the hard enduro, like the Ezberg rodeo.

The KTM it's also called "The ship of the desert". It was absolutly a letal weapon in Meoni's hands. 

The HP2 was produced by the sport division of the BMW, like the M division for cars. The name was choosen for the acronym of high performance, and 2 is for the number of cylinder  It's totally sexy and also f**kin incisive in the hard off road.

Won at her first race the Ezberg Rodeo with Chris Pfeiffer.

Is it enought?

There is only a problem. HP2 cost like a brand new BMW 1 series. And there is only a few pieces on the road.

The 990 ADV R is more cheaper, but always a good choice..
